LEAH YORK, CAE

President

As the founder of Talbott Talent, Leah is recognized as a trusted advisor to nonprofit executives and boards of directors. Beginning her work with nonprofits in 1999, Leah has held C-level positions and provided financial and governance consulting to organizations across the country.

 

Leah earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University, her MBA from the University of Indianapolis, and is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) as well as several Midwest state societies of association exeuctives. She is recognized as a Certified Association Executive by ASAE, earning that certification in 2010. Leah is also a member of Synergize, a select group of business leaders who have made a commitment to put relationships above all else in everything they do.

 

Leah has served as a member of the board of directors of the Indiana Society of Association Executives and Board Treasurer of Art With a Heart. She currently serves on the board of directors of The O'Connor House, a home providing help and hope for homeless pregnant women and their children.

HEATHER ROLINSKI

Vice President, Nonprofit Effectiveness

Heather works closely with Talbott Talent's nonprofit clients to implement solutions that increase their effectiveness in delivering their mission. With nearly two decades of experience as a talent development leader, she has extensive experience designing, implementing and managing talent solutions. Heather's experience spans talent management, recruitment, executive coaching, change management, employee engagement, culture transformation, and leadership development.

 

Heather earned her undergraduate and master's degrees from Indiana University. Working with nonprofit organizations aligns her career expertise with her core values of social good and civic service. Heather is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and a member of the Society of Human Resources Management.

NANCY ELBERT

Executive Recruiter

Nancy brings over a decade of experience in recruitment to the Talbott Talent team. She also started and ran a successful investment company for over ten years. Nancy is actively involved with the University High School of Indiana, an independent college preparatory school. She has served on their executive committee, as a member of the Board of Trustees, and has established a scholarship fund.

ERICA POFF, CAE, PMP, IOM

Director, Association Solutions

With more than a decade of experience, Erica has a proven track record of strengthening associations, with expertise in strategic planning, business development, credentialing, government relations and advocacy, partnership development, volunteer recruitment and management, training, and project management. Having spent her career working with local, national, and international non-profits, Erica is passionate about helping mission-driven organizations succeed in meeting the needs of their members and enriching their communities.

 

Erica holds bachelor's and master's degrees in political science from Ohio University and is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Indiana Society of Association Executives (ISAE). Erica is recognized as a Certified Association Executive by ASAE and a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute.

KRISTIN JARVIS

Business Manager

Kristin’s career began as an RN, and her success within her nursing career took her from the hospital, to home care, to management, and on to insurance and hospital utilization. She went on to apply her experience and expertise as a Nurse Advocate and Team Manager to business ownership with her husband; their business won Franchise of the Year in 2019.
