Tauhric Brown Joins Bauer Family Resources as CEO
We’re thrilled to share that Tauhric Brown joined Bauer Family Resources as CEO this fall.
He brings more than 35 years of cross-sector leadership experience and a deep commitment to systems change, strategic growth, and mission-driven innovation.
Before joining Bauer, Tauhric served as President & CEO of CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions, where he led a $40M operation, helped secure major funding, and launched initiatives that continue to shape aging services across Indiana.
Most recently, he served as President & CEO of CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions and the CICOA Foundation, where he led a team of 250+ staff with a $40M operating budget. His work there helped reimagine aging services across Indiana, and his accomplishments include securing a $5M sustainability grant from Lilly Endowment Inc., launching the social enterprise venture studio Wrinkle Innovation, and building the Community Care Hub of Indiana (CCHI) to streamline back-office support for community-based providers.
Tauhric’s leadership has consistently centered on expanding impact and equity. He served as a design stakeholder for the Family and Social Services Administration’s Medicaid Waiver and Multi-Sector Plan on Aging projects, testified before Indiana’s health and human services committees, and partnered with AARP and Trust for America’s Health to champion age-friendly community ecosystems.
Prior to CICOA, Tauhric held executive roles with Senior Services Inc. in Michigan, where he improved operational efficiency, expanded donor engagement, and infused LEAN thinking into human service delivery. He also has experience in entrepreneurship and business development, having launched several successful ventures in retail and wireless tech—experience that continues to inform his results-driven approach to nonprofit leadership.
At Bauer Family Resources, Tauhric steps into a role that aligns with his commitment to empowering children and families. The organization serves communities across a nine-county area through early childhood education, youth development, family support, and crisis stabilization.
